Auto Insurance
Will my auto insurance cover me if I am driving someone else’s car?
Yes. Chances are good that the car owner’s policy would cover you in the event of an accident. Then your insurance policy will pay after the car owners policy has paid the full extents of their limits.
What is SR-22 insurance?
Some states, such as New Hampshire, require high risk drivers to file this form before purchasing auto insurance. It requires the insurance provider to notify the state if coverage is cancelled. Drivers caught driving uninsured or without a valid license, DUI or with numerous speeding tickets may be required to fill out the form.
We regret that Byfield Insurance cannot file form SR-22 for New Hampshire residents.
How does a DUI affect my auto insurance coverage?
That depends on the situation and your coverage. Contact us for further information.
What determines the price of an auto insurance policy?
Answer: Numerous factors including your age, driving record, type of car, where you live and the number of miles you drive each year contribute to the cost of your policy. Some of these factors may make you eligible for discounts.
